The Brief

Interactive Places is a Bristol based company creating mobile content with a twist. Using the latest technology Director Tom Bennett combines historical tours with interactive drama to give users a unique experience. Olice was originally brought on board to create a pilot in Whitehall Palace and, following the success of this, was Tom’s first choice to film and edit his latest project. Set in Victorian Bristol this gives visitors the chance to see what the area would have looked like 130 years ago.

The Solution

During our tests we found that the main problem was modern noises. To combat this we filmed in a green screen studio and created all of the backgrounds ourselves. Despite a tight schedule (20 actors in a day!) all filming was finished on time and Olice was complimented for our positive outlook and for putting the actors at ease.

The Result

The videos now sit seamlessly with their backgrounds and were well received by visitors to the docks. Director Tom Bennett thought, ‘Working with Oli and Alice has been a real pleasure. We found them to be professional, skilled and excellent communicators, as well as being very good at working to a deadline and going the extra yard.'
