The Brief
The Latin American restaurant chain Las Iguanas are opening a number of new restaurants this year and approached us to create an interactive recruitment DVD to be streamed on their website and given out on undersized DVDs. They wanted the video to reflect the authentic style of the company and to show that the work is hard but fun.
The Solution
Olice’s creative team worked with Las Iguanas to identify the major brand elements. We then created a treatment and shot list designed to capture these elements and reinforce the brand. We filmed at various sites around the country, interviewing members of staff and capturing the bustle of restaurant life. Olice was then able to complete every step needed to make the video a success, from custom made animations, to interactive authoring (with animated maps and downloadable PDFs) to streaming the video on their website.
The Result
The DVD is now being distributed to over 2000 potential employees at all levels around the country. Brand manager Lucy Harwood said, ‘we thoroughly enjoyed the process, particularly working with people who 'got' us and our brand from the outset and who brought creativity, patience, good humour to the proceedings.’
