The Brief

Herefordshire based Richard Box has been teaching for 45 years and approached Olice in 2006 to turn his book ‘Drawing for the Terrified’ into an interactive DVD. Following on the success of this Richard decided to create another full length DVD, this time a combination of several of his books teaching students the basics of embroidery.

The Solution

As well as filming at one of Richard’s residential courses Olice filmed Richard in a studio, then condensed the footage into 150 minutes on a 2 disc DVD. This includes motion animations to highlight techniques, interviews with students, printable design packs and step-by-step classes designed to take users through the entire embroidery process. Olice was able to handle everything, from filming through to designing the DVDs and having them printed, keeping the process for Richard hassle free.

The Result

Richard is selling the DVDs at his classes and through establishments around Herefordshire and has already approached Olice for a custom made website later in the year which will feature an ecommerce system where his two DVDs can be purchased with ease.
