Shimm1 - Music Video 'Its Over'

The Brief

'ITS OVER’ is a music video starring Birmingham’s finest up and coming rap artists, Shimm1 & Moorish Delta 7. Shimm1 wanted a gritty urban look to the video, but didn’t have the cash for on location shooting.

The Solution

The video was shot in a green screen studio in under 4 hours, saving time and money for the client. We then created backdrops in Photoshop and composited the video using Apple’s Final Cut Studio 2. A 3D space with video and 2D images was simulated using the animation program Motion 3.

The Result

The resulting video has the dark gritty look required, without ever having to leave the studio. Its had some great responses on U-tube where over 14,000 people have viewed it. Shimm1 (managing director of Zygo Battalion Enterprises) remarked ‘I was more than pleased. Olice did a complete and professional job.’
